This hose connection vacuum breaker is designed to prevent the flow of contaminated water back into the potable water supply and is specially made to permit the attachment of portable hoses to hose thread faucets. It provides protection against back siphon-age for health hazard installations requiring non-continuous pressure. It also has a freeze relief feature that protects the valve from freeze damage.
