Oatey 4 in. Disc Floor Drain Plunger

The Oatey 4 in. Curb/Disc Plunger Kit is used for clearing small blockages from all 4 in. floor drains or combination sewer master traps. The versatility of the Curb/Disc Plunger allows for use at any depth by cutting Sch. 80 black or galvanized TBE pipe and threading it into the 3/4 in. brass receiver. For residential and commercial plumbing applications. Using all components inside the bag, assemble your new Curb/Disc Plunger. Remove strainer or cleanout cap and measure the depth of trap below grade. Cut a 3/4 in. x 10 ft. Sch. 80 black or galvanized pipe (sold separately) to desired length. Pipe should be cut to a length that is 2 ft. greater than the depth of trap being serviced. Insert disc below water level and with vigorous motion, move plunger up and down. Continue until small blockage is relieved and water flow returns. Note: Only for use on small blockages. If tree roots or solid blockages exist, drain clearing equipment or products may be necessary.
