The Design House 727941 Passage Knob does not lock and is used in bedrooms, hallways, and other rooms where privacy is not important. Features include 2 non-locking knobs, 1 on each side of the door. Finished in satin nickel and designed for left or right-hand doors, this knob fits the 2 most common backsets in the U.S (2-3/4 in. and 2-3/8 in.). Use this knob on standard 1-3/8 in. and 1-3/4 in. thick doors with a cross bore 2-1/8 in. Dia or an edge bore 1-1/16 in. Dia (1 in. x 2-1/4 in. radius corner faceplate). The Passage Knob is ideal for installation on closet, hallway, and bedroom doors and not intended for locking purposes.
