Our Buttercrunch will mature to compact, 10 in. heads with light green, thick outer leaves and loosely folded, thick, creamy inner leaves that are not bitter. This variety is slow to bolt. A good variety for both spring and fall crops. You can pick baby leaves in only 28-days. Developed by Cornell University it was awarded a All American Selection in 1963. A good source of vitamin A and phytonutrients.
