Ferry-Morse Pea Melting Sugar Snow Pea Seed

This pea is a favorite in Chinese and northern European dishes. Young, tender pods are especially tasty when chopped and steamed with butter. This sugar pea grows on 4 ft. vines that can be easily trellised or use plant weave. Prolific producers of larger 3/4 in. W x 4 in. x 5 in. L fleshy, sweet pods. The pods of Melting Sugar Pea are free of fiber and strings. You can eat Melting Sugar Pea raw, steamed or stir fried. For sweet tender peas let Pea's mature longer on the vine and they can be used as a shell pea.
