Gate Hinge Straps are a component used for mounting a gate to a wooden post. They should be used in conjunction with Gate Screw Hooks and Gate Bolt Hooks to properly support wood gates. Hinge Straps allow the gate to be lifted up and off Screw Hooks or Bolt Hooks if removal is desired. Use 3/8 in. bolts to fasten Hinge Strap to gate (sold separately). Use with 3/4 in. x 6 in. Screw Hooks or 3/4 in. x 10 in. or 12 in. Bolt Hooks to fasten to post.
