Flowers are a unique, dark purplish burgundy with white. A very unique color combo. Blooms in spring through summer. In late fall, cover with straw or evergreen branches to protect where winters are severe. Sow outdoors in a cold frame or protected seedbeds, in spring to early summer in the North, fall in the South.
